 The question must be asked, does love really cover a multitude of sins? Can true love actually conquer all or will his darkness consume those around him until all that stands is an assassin with the blood of the mortal realm on his hands?

Review:

De serie The Grey Wolves van Quinn Loftis staat al een tijdje op mijn verlanglijstje, maar de hoeveelheid aan boeken in deze serie, de 6e is in de maak, weerhoud me ervan om er aan te beginnen. Er was een tijd dat ik het liefst series las, en dan ook nog het liefst een hele serie achter elkaar, maar op dit moment ga ik meer voor de stand alone's of series van maximaal 3 boeken. En alhoewel ik bijna zeker weet dat dit ook geen serie wordt van minder dan 4 boeken sprak de samenvatting me enorm aan, plus dat ik al een tijdje op zoek ben naar boeken over de Fey.
Klein minpuntje: dit gaat niet over de Fey maar over Elven, maar dat is bijna hetzelfde toch??
Ik heb er in ieder geval enorm van genoten, het enige punt waarom ik geen 5 sterren heb gegeven is dat er zoveel verschillende gezichtspunten waren. Het liefst heb ik gezichtspunten van alleen de 2 hoofdrol spelers, maar we konden van nog minstens 4 andere kanten een blik in het verhaal werpen. Er zijn boeken waarin ik dat toejuich, maar in dit geval maakte het me een beetje ongeduldig. Verder had het eigenlijk alles wat je je maar kan wensen: spanning, romantiek, humor en een paar gruwelijke momenten die me de rillingen over de rug bezorgden.
Ik kijk zeker uit naar het 2e deel van deze serie.
