And the feelings are totally mutual. It had the makings of the perfect romantic set up. Boy meets girl. Boy likes girl. Boy has girlfriend? Okay, maybe not. But attraction is a hard thing to ignore and soon Jordan and Maysie find themselves in the middle of a gossip induced firestorm. Maysie has to learn whether she can set aside her fear of public disapproval in order to be with the one she wants. Or will she let the opinions of others dictate her life and her heart?

Review:

Ik heb enorm genoten van dit boek, ik kon het maar met moeite wegleggen. Helaas ontkwam ik daar niet aan want hij was erg lang en ook al had ik het gewild, ik had hem met geen mogelijkheid in 1x uit kunnen lezen. Maar ik heb me ook enorm zitten ergeren. Ergeren aan Jordan. Hij is het perfecte totaalplaatje; de bad boy met het bad boy uiterlijk (tattoo's, piercings), populair, rock star, echt een yummy hoofdpersoon. Maar de manier waarop hij achter Maysie aan jaagt vond ik ver beneden peil. Zijn relatie met zijn vriendin is niet meer wat het geweest is en hij heeft gevoelens voor Maysie die hij nog nooit gevoeld heeft. Maar ipv dat hij zijn relatie verbreekt voordat hij met Maysie verder gaat blijft hij met haar flirten en probeert hij haar op allerlei manieren te strikken zonder eerst zijn relatie te verbreken. Ik had enorm veel respect voor Maysie's vastbeslotenheid om zich niet door hem om te laten praten ondanks haar sterke gevoelens voor hem. Toch heeft ze uiteindelijk een moment van zwakte en dan breekt de hel los en krijgen we te zien hoe snel het roddel circuit toeslaat en hoe gemeen een groep meiden kan zijn.
De snelle schrijfstijl, pittige dialogen en opwindende, intense sex-scenes, maakten dat dit boek een genot was om te lezen.
